Project leader: Kacper Radziszewski

Research and didactic worker at the Faculty of Architecture, Gdansk University of Technology. Founder of the Foundation for Modern Architecture. In his research and professional work he deals with the use of algorithmic methods in the field of architectural design concerning the reduction of the negative impact of investments on the environment and increasing the comfort of space users. Author of numerous scientific publications, monographs, organizer and leader of numerous workshops and trainings on the application of new technologies in construction and urban planning. Leader of the Greencoin project. 

Helena Anacka

Helena is a graduate from the Jagiellonian University and Gdansk University of Technology, whose background is in both private and public sector, e.g. as an EVS volunteer, NGO worker and private sector employee. Helena has a broad international experience while working in culturally diversified teams in Poland and abroad. Currently a PhD candidate at GUT, Department of Economics, Helena supports the team with research, analysis and business the related issues.

Jakub Bojanowski

Graduate of Environmental Protection with a specialization in Environmental Protection and Landscaping. He also studied ecology at the Universidade de Coimbra and postgraduate studies in EU Structures – Polish Staff for the EU at the University of Finance and Information Technology in Lodz. In both his Eng. and M.Sc. thesis he dealt with Polish and EU environmental policy and analysis of the implementation of the environmental sustainable development goals of the Post-2015 Agenda in Poland. In 2018-2019 he worked at the Ministry of Investment and Development in the Department of Labour Market.  He joined the Greencoin project in August 2021 and is co-responsible for environmental issues. He is primarily interested in sustainable development and human impact on the environment. He is also a film and music geek with a love for nature and travel

Piotr Czyż PhD MArch. Eng.

Architect (PhD), philosopher (MA). President of Inicjatywa Miasto Association, employee of the Faculty of Architecture, Gdansk University of Technology and guest lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. His scientific and social activities are devoted to the social role of architecture and new methods of transforming public spaces. Executor of several local government grant projects devoted to space revitalization and participatory design. Manager of a research project on strategies for development of Polish market places carried out under the Gospostrategy program for the National Centre for Research and Development. Consultant of the so-called Landscape Resolutions in Gdańsk and Sopot.

Zbigniew Karaczun PhD MArch. Eng.

Associate professor at Warsaw University of Life Sciences, manager of Management and Technologies of Sustainable Development specialization at Interdepartmental Study of Environmental Protection. Vice President of the Polish Ecological Club Mazowsze District, an expert in WG II of the European Economic and Social Committee.

His research interests include: ecological policy, environmental management, sustainable rural development, climate protection management and adaptation to climate change

Jolanta Kowal PhD

Jolanta Kowal (PhD) is a researcher at the University of Wroclaw, Institute of Psychology and professor at Gdansk University of Technology, Jungian analyst (IAAP, Zurich), certified ICF coach (Lexington, USA), vice president for research of SIG GLOBDEV AIS section (USA). Her research interests include socio-economic science methodology, economic psychology, managerial economics, and the multicultural influences of psychoanalysis. She has published in JCR-listed journals such as ISM, ITD, GITM, Proceedings of AMCIS, HICSS, IEEE, ICTM and others. She is a member of the editorial board of the journal ITD, a guest editor of the journal ISM and EJISDC, among many others. Her work has been funded by the European Commission, NCBR, NSC, PAN and others. She was named 2020 Scientist of the Year in the Social Sciences (IARC, Chicago, USA).

Hanna Obracht-Prondzyńska PhD MArch. Eng.

Assistant Professor at the University of Gdańsk, Department of Spatial Management; her work focuses on data driven design & planning and digital tools enhancing participatory planning, including the assessment of urban perception based on social media data; urban designer & planner with an experience from USA, China, South Africa, Romania; GIS analyst and urban data scientist; coauthor of spatial development plan for the metropolitan area of Gdańsk-Gdynia-Sopot; active ISOCARP member; for her PhD defended with distinction she received 5 awards, including 2 from the Minister of Economic Development and Technology.

Magdalena Walnik

As a team member of Greencoin I care about amazing experience for future user of Greencoin mobile app so I am User Experience Designer. Who? On my own definition – someone who babysitting users, respect stakeholders and loves coders. I am focuse on user-centered design, ux research and design thinking. Personally – always smiled, positive vibes spreading, absorbed by my dog, in love with chocolate.

Paweł Weichbroth PhD

Received the M.A. degree in statistics from the University of Gdańsk, Poland, in 2003, and the Ph.D. degree in artificial intelligence from the Katowice University of Economics, Poland, in 2014. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Software Engineering, Gdańsk University of Technology. In this regard, he has authored more than 40 research articles as journal articles, conference papers, and book chapters. His main research areas concern software quality, machine learning, and knowledge management. He has been a member of the Scientific Community of Business Informatics, a member of several international conference program committees, and currently acting as a Reviewer in journals with an impact factor. Moreover, for more than 20 years, he has worked as a Business Consultant and an IT Lecturer. Since 2018, he has been acting as an Expert of the Ministry of Digital Affairs in a project for the development of public digital services.

Kacper Wereszko

Kacper Wereszko is a graduate of computer science (specialization: Internet technologies and algorithms). Since 2017 he is a Ph.D. student in the field of computer science. He worked as an IT specialist in National Institute of Telecommunications (Poland) from 2014 to 2020. He works as an assistant in Department of Algorithms and System Modelling, Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics, Gdańsk University of Technology. His research interests focus on security properties of graphs, domination problems in graphs and their practical applications. He also works on mobile application programming, GNSS measurements and VR and AR applications development and analysis.
